Monitoring a site is rarely a one-person job — a client wants visibility, a co-founder wants alerts too, an agency wants read access without owning the account. Every site can be shared with a team, with real permission levels instead of one shared login.
Two roles, one owner
Add a team member by email and choose a role: "member" gets full visibility into the site's reports and history, while "admin" can also manage the site itself — rescan, pause, add subdomains, invite other members. The owner is always the owner; only they can grant admin access or remove it.
VIP protection
Marking a member as VIP makes them removal-immune — nobody else on the team, including an admin, can remove them. A VIP can only remove themselves (leave the team voluntarily). The one exception: the owner can still delete the entire site, which removes everyone on it, VIP included.
Limits scale with plan
How many people you can add to a single site depends on the site owner's plan — Free and Starter allow a smaller team, Pro and Scale allow more. The limit applies per site, based on whoever owns it, not whoever's adding the member.

Can an admin I've added remove me or grant themselves more access?
No. Only the actual site owner can grant admin or VIP status, or remove another admin — a shared admin can add plain members but can't escalate their own or anyone else's access.
What happens if I try to remove a VIP member?
You can't — a VIP can only remove themselves. If you're the owner and need them off the site entirely, deleting the site removes every member, VIP included.
Does adding team members count against my site limit?
No — team members count against your per-site member limit, which is separate from how many sites you can track overall.
